“The stories I capture are wide and varied. From emotive portraits to locations that make you wonder, there’s always a story to tell.”
As a photographer I seek fleeting moments; tales of all types that should be told and meaning that should be shared. Those moments are the ones that inspire me and are the ones I aim to capture."

I am a photographer of many genres and types with my true love being Film photography. (Yes… Old School, take the picture and drive it to Walmart so you can wait a week for those images, film.) It’s pure, nostalgic and a process I get lost in.
I shoot street photography, portraiture and weddings, yet the stories I chase and capture are wide and varied. From emotive portraits to locations that make you wonder and even that special day when you say “I Do” , there’s always a story to tell.

I am based in Montreal, but am always open and eager to travel.

As a kid I would get lost dreaming, especially while reading National Geographic. Those visual stories had the power to transport me to far away lands and sparked my imagination every month when we received the newest issue. What was within those pages mattered, whether they were bringing attention to conflicts or simply showcasing how beautiful our world could be.
Reading those magazines I dreamt of one day becoming a photographer, and now in my work I get to realize that dream.

I am not only a talented and moustached photographer, but have many years of experience as a professional retoucher.
Whats Your Story?
My Tale starts some time ago in Brussels, Belgium. I was born to a beautiful Brazilian Mother and a smart yet witty Peruvian Father. Because of this, some like to joke that I was born everywhere. I like to believe it just adds to the mystery of Antonio Perez.
Around the tender age of two, we decided to move to Canada for a brighter future and 5 months of cold. My family lived in various locations across the years yet Montreal has always been our homestead (plus, who doesn’t love poutine and smoked meat?)
While moving around, we also traveled a lot for family. As a kid it’s easy to take for granted, but having family spread across the Americas made learning languages and gaining inspiration within my roots a never ending love affair.
Fast forward to today and my experiences have made me realize how much of life and people there is to share. That essence of wonder and discovery has never left me and has translated itself into my creative career.
